There are many examples, but this past weekend his performative nonsense was staring us in the face.
A full-page open letter denouncing anti-Semitism — and signed by 80 non-Jewish Canadian business and community leaders across Canada — was placed in six major newspapers over the weekend.
It was titled “Join us in calling for a Canada where everyone can live safely and with dignity.” and called for the anti-hate laws to be applied “fairly and consistently.”
It noted that words from “political leaders matter”and quoted from Mark Carney’s June 2 speech at Holy Blossom synagogue.
”The time has come. Canadians must stand up for each other,” he’d said that day.
We know Carney’s speech was all performative b.s. especially since he named Omar Alghabra, an avowed terrorist sympathizer to his committee on anti-Semitism.
Perhaps Carney enjoyed this cruel joke.
But after the letter appeared, Carney being the toxic narcissist he is and knowing he’s done squat since his June 2 speech, issued yet another phony tweet about standing up for anti-Semitism.
The namby pamby tweet was merely to try to save his reputation because he was embarrassed by the open letter.
He must think we’re really dumb.
Those of us who don’t make excuses for him — I’m talking about his Liberal Jewish followers — know that he really doesn’t feel the least bit of disgust and certainly not defiance at the virulent anti-Semitism in Canada.
If he did he wouldn’t be rushing to rabidly attack Israel for every event that occurs in the Mideast, especially when the Jewish state is merely trying to protect itself.
And he certainly would be ensuring that those who commit hate crimes against Jews are appropriately penalized. In other words, there are consequences for vandalizing Jewish businesses, shooting at synagogues and harassing Jews on the streets.
He’d admit that the most of the terror is coming from immigrants and refugees his government has let into the country because Muslim values are not
Canadian values.
That he’ll never do.
In fact on Sunday after that tepid tweet, he showed up at the Toronto Pride parade.
Yes indeed, the PM who couldn’t (likely wouldn’t) show his face at the Walk with Israel (attended by 60,000 and not just Jews) a month ago, marched in a parade that has been taken over by the radical left.
His performance was cringeworthy.
It was a performance, believe me.
A guy so concerned with anti-Semitism perhaps would not want to rub shoulders with people who have banned police from marching; who support Antifa and who carried Palestinian flags.
Oops I forgot: Carney recognized the non-existent country of Palestine last September.
But I’m really confused: A while ago Carney said Muslim values are Canadian values and he’s formed ties with Qatar.
If homosexuality is illegal in the vast majority of Arab states — including Gaza — what is Carney doing supporting Pride?
We’re certainly getting mixed messages.
Never mind.
That all got lost in the obsessive social media tweets from his trained seals claiming he’s a true man of the people while intimating that CPC leader Pierre Poilievre doesn’t care about LGBTQIA people.
My goodness you know our country is topsy turvy when a Jew hating PM is lauded for putting on a performance at Pride—and Poilievre is made out to be homophobic even though his deputy leader is a lesbian and his father is gay.
But it’s all performative in the end — a ruse designed to deliberately trick weak-minded Canadians.
Which brings me back to the open letter signed by 80 captains of industry.
It was not only a pleasant surprise but I sincerely hope it made Carney wince.
At least there are those who see through him — no matter how many trained Liberal seals try to prop him up.
Carney has a trans kid so he has to show up for the Pride Parade, not that he wouldn't have participated anyway. Jews are expendable as a voting group so he doesn't have to pretend he gives a sh*t about Jew hate. Interesting how Carney never said Jewish values are Canadian values even though Canada's culture was predicated on Judeo-Christian values. That one statement about Muslim values being Canadian values said everything we need to know about where he stands and the unfortunate direction in which the country is heading.
