OP-ED: Pro-Hamas radicals find twelve Liberal sympathizers, led by Mark Carney

Even though there is no such country as Palestine, a group of haters of the Jewish state and of Jews have managed to infiltrate the federal election with efforts to impose their agenda on woke and weak candidates.
And it seems they have found 12 useful idiots in the Liberal party, headed by a caretaker Prime Minister, Mark Carney, who, like his predecessor has gone out of his way to diss Israel and enable Jew-hatred, so far in the election campaign.
On Tuesday night, Carney claimed Canada has an arms embargo vis-a-vis Israel after someone (perhaps planted) at his rally screamed out about the genocide in Gaza.
The Vote Palestine platform (VotePalestine.ca) has been promoted as a “grassroots campaign” supported by a long list of the usual Islamist suspects, perennial socialist protesters, unions, university groups and terrorist sympathizers — including the Palestinian Youth Movement, CJPME, the self-loathing Jews from Independent Jewish Voices and CUPE Ontario, whose vile president, Fred Hahn, faces a human rights claim by his members for his rampant anti-Semitic acts and remarks since Oct. 7/2023.
Supporters include Queer Halal time, and Queers for Palestine groups in Ottawa and Toronto.
These three groups are obviously disconnected from reality considering the government in Gaza (Hamas) is virulently anti-LGBTQ and would go so far as to imprison them or toss them from a roof if they ever set foot in the Muslim state.
It is beyond absurd.
Nevertheless, the platform has been put in place, according to organizers, to take action because Israel has increased its attacks on Gaza and Trump is involved in an “ethnic cleansing plan” for Gaza.
“A growing majority of people in Canada refuses to accept the government’s complicity in genocide,” they allege.
There is no genocide and of course, they don’t mention anything about the horrific Hamas invasion of Oct. 7/2023 and the innocent Israelis taken hostage — events which precipitated the war.
They would never admit, either, that Israel started attacking Gaza again because Hamas broke the ceasefire.
Never let the actual facts get in the way of indoctrinating the weak and ignorant.
The candidates who sign on are asked to agree to end Canadian involvement in illegal Israeli settlements, impose a two-way arms embargo on Israel, recognize the state of Palestine and properly fund relief efforts in Gaza, particularly UNRWA (which is infiltrated by Hamas terrorists who have repeatedly stolen the food and money filtered through UNRWA).
The best part of the platform is where candidates are asked to address “anti-Palestinian racism” and freedom of expression on Palestine.
This is the narrative these hateful people have been pushing for the past 18 months — that any criticism of their tactics and their protests is considered Islamophobic.
But they are free to harass, bully and terrorize Jews in Canada’s major cities with impunity.
Is it any wonder B’nai Brith Canada’s latest audit shows anti-Semitic incidents to have spiked 74% in Canada in 2024 and 122% since 2022.
Most thinking and rational candidates would consider this warped narrative absurd and hateful.
But not the NDP or Green Party both of which have a long history of anti-Semitism.
Some 195 candidates have given it their endorsement, including self-loathing Jew Avi Lewis, Elizabeth May and Jagmeet Singh and such long-time Israel/Jew haters as Matthew Green, Joel Harden and Monique Taylor.
The real shocker, or maybe not, is the 12 useful idiots in the Liberal party who have also signed on.
Some like Iqra Khalid and headscarved Sameer Zubieri have made their Jew hatred very well known, particularly since 10-7.
But it strikes me that some of the others — like Toronto incumbent Nate Erskine-Smith, Adam Van Koerveden and Jenna Sudds — will do anything to virtue signal even though they likely are completely ignorant about what’s occurring in the Mideast.
That, or the Liberal party’s true anti-Semitism is coming out, considering they have a leader who sanctions it with his own hateful chatter.
What they don’t realize is that radical Islamists never stop with the Jews.
Yet as if they have no integrity whatsoever these Liberal terrorist sympathizers are happy to court the Jewish vote.
Or like Leslie Church, who is running in my riding of St. Paul’s (for the second time) and Anthony Housefather (the alleged anti-Semitism fighter), they say nothing and hope no one notices.
They pretend that most people are not as smart or plugged in as them.
Not one Jew should be voting Liberal in this election.
But sadly, there are still too many who are too much in denial to think their beloved Liberal party would ever turn on them.
Guess what?
It has.
The world had a permanent peace after the Armistice to end WWI. The Jews have slowly learned that best two out of three didn’t work out too well for them in WWII. As long as there are Israeli captives and Hamas exists there will be war. The ball is in Hamas’ court and they refuse to surrender.
