OP-ED: Olivia Chow has turned Toronto into a snow-covered joke
Sue-Ann Levy writes, "Nearly four days after a snowstorm dumped more than 50 cm (20-plus inches) of snow on Toronto, only the main streets are passable to drivers."
Nearly four days after a snowstorm dumped more than 50 cm (20-plus inches) of snow on Toronto, only the main streets are passable to drivers.
The side streets, while plowed, are so narrow and so full of huge mountains of snow and ice that only one car can manoeuvre them at a time. A car heading in the opposite direction is forced to pull over into a mound of snow or into a free driveway, if there is one.
