So if so called aboriginal people can claim land rights here going back centuries, why can’t those of us go back to our countries of origin and take back what was taken from us?

While I know there were nefarious actions perpetrated on our indigenous population, we simply cannot go back. The best for everyone is to move forward and learn from our mistakes, theirs and ours. Continuing to provide funds without accountability should be one of the first things that changes.

They were conquered. Just like any country that was conquered by another. The people assimilate into the new formed country. For example , how many times was England conquered. Did they go on to say hey we want our country back? No they became the new country each time. Just like we are about have when the UN has completed their conquering of what was Canada. The completion will be in about the next year or so. Will we go out and say we want it back?

The treason of the Liberal Government to allow the UN any claims to Canada must come with legal consequences. We the taxpayers did NOT vote to give away Canada. If that is what the Liberal government has done, they should all be on trial for treason.

Well, based on the 20+ specialists appointments husband has had trying to figure out why every organ in his body is malfunctioning since 2 Moderna shots - and a young daughter of 42 had to have a cancer removed from her breast after 3 Pfizer shots (no breast cancer at all in my family previous to her 3 Pfizer shots), so, I'm just surmising that something new, novel and unusual caused a lot of damage, and it sure as heck wasn't my cooking. Not only that but I WAS THE CONTROL GROUP PERSON FOR MY FAMILY SINCE PHARMA DUMPED THE CONTROL GROUPS AND OFFERED THEM THE SHOTS - PROBABLY TO ERASE THE CONTROLS. AND hey, I didn't have any health problems, never got Covid and haven't ever gone near flu shots since the H1N1 flu shot destroyed my twin's health - nor any other injections since being a volunteered polio vaccine test subject in grade 6 or 7 in Manitoba.

Angus Reed opinion poll is out in left field….as are majority of polls on any subject! Polls can, and are, manipulated to support whatever the pollsters wish!!

I’ve lived in Ontario, Yukon and Alberta. I’ve had First Nation friends across the country ! Without exception, each has been adamant that everyone everywhere be treated as a regular Canadian! Every person, irregardless of ethnic origin that calls Canada home is a “Canadian”! No special treatment, no divisiveness! Progressive FN communities are not interested in being treated as “specialty” Canadians! The Trudeau/Carney government is relentless in their pursuit of creating division and downright hatred for FN - this enables WAY more government control….better defined as Marxism!

Sending billions of taxpayer dollars to FN communities promotes an “easy money” lack of initiative, encourages rampant Chief and Council leadership corruption and causes a justified anger on the part of other Canadians.

It needs to STOP NOW! Canada needs to unite as one!!

Funny how so much "Traditional Culture" looks exactly the same across so many different bands. "Turtle Island" and "Two Spirit" being recent inventions used by peoples that never saw a turtle or had any history of it. All hide drums and teepees as if everyone had them. I read that Indian writers in the 40's said their culture was dead. All that was left was for the tourists. Seems pretty true. No wonder they don't teach broad history, messes with the narrative.

Liberals don't give a damn about the military. They cut spending, they desperately need equipment & the Liberals don't care. Ya, he's agreed to come up to the 5% for NATO but that will likely never happen. We're so much in the hole when it comes to the military, Canada can't afford the equipment they need much less the 5% fees. The Liberals are simply throwing things at a wall to see what sticks!!

A few things come to mind. Natives are unfortunates. The governments keep them in poverty and hostages. Life of the rez is crap unless one is a well paid chief or a council member. The Canadian taxpayer bears the brunt of Native welfare. Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and drug addiction is rampant. So many crazy chiefs have FAS.

Next. Trudeaus government catered to the Indians.

Trudeau removed Harpers Indian Accounting Transparency act which required Audits of the government money to see how much the chiefs etc were stealing.

A recent Rebel expose highlights how the town Of OK Falls in BC Incorporated and fell under the idiocy of UNDRIP. OK Falls now needs Native approval for much of their business including a Name from English to Native eg...WTFxtztztzannoxitxyl.

A minority that relies on taxpayers should never have a right to consult the removal of taxpayer lands but both the corrupt UN and the Communist BC NDP seem to not care. I have no idea what their strategy is but I'm moving to Alberta.

Abolish thd indian act, UNdrip, walk back all treaties, it is not "their" land it is everbodies and stop giving them my money, I do not consent! Nothing will ever get built if we have to consult with these unelected scrounging grifters (which is 99% of the greedy chiefs and their families as the rest of them get nothing and still live in squalor) and conman carbage knew that when he did C5 so talked up let's build stuff and maybe a pipeline knowing full well his anti Canada oil and gas stance will remain intact, what a puke.

Whether one likes it or not there appears at this point in time to be only one leader in what little remains of supposed Democracies.

IT'S NOT CARNEY.. The off-shore Banker, WEF Principle, UN Consultant, Globalist, American Investor and off-shore money hider.

Consultations mean just that... Consult but be a leader and if your gut tells you that what you are hearing is BS and just plain wrong then IGNORE IT and thank those offering advise for their input and the tell them TO BE GONE.

This should be one of the many definition of a real leader including, but certainly not limited to GET THINGS DONE.

Again this will eliminate Carney... Same head on a different snake. A snake that rarely moves at all.

Indeed Carney being a woke/progressive banker type will most assuredly use supposed consultations to do little to nothing.

You can likely take that one to the bank.

Someone needs to be held accountable for these funds & that are very obviously not going to where the funds are meant to go.

I still don't understand why Indigenous people have the "right" to tell us what we can or cannot do. This land was never really theirs. Yes, they were here but they never lived in one place. Didn't they follow the buffalo? They roamed around the country. Most didn't stay in one place. So I don't understand how they seem to "own" our land. What am I missing. I don't mean to be ignorant, I asking to learn.
