The article is brilliant. Our leaders have thrown fiscal prudence to the wind for electoral gain. They are not guided by the public interest but personal gain. As for the media, they accuse politicians who seek to buck this trend as cruel and austere penny-pinchers.

Hi Jim: I think maybe you should have added Liberal to your words: "Our leaders." We don't really know what would have happened if we had a different leader and party than the liberals, do we?

We can only speculate that it would have been the same with PP, but we don't really know. Oh my, praying for a leader that truly cares about our nation and people, but only God can save our nation from this mess.

Thanks for this piece. A worthwhile read. Interesting idea that currency is a reflection of our culture and character. It reminds me that a problem with politics is that it incents promoting what's popular over what's principled. It's easier to offer things than it is to encourage responsibility.

Yes, they offer things, but it's giving with one hand and taking twice or three times as much with the other. How can they give what our reserves do not have?

Moral decay follows fast on the refusal of accountability to a higher power. Society is destabilized in every way when everyone does "what is right in his own eyes."

Zimbabwe is where we are at now, or just on the fall of the final few feet from the bottom of the pit. Very well done Johnathan, excellent description of what's in store for us, thanks to the turdope family and the corrupt un.

So much bad news, so much crime, so much corruption - its never ending! This is the most wonderful, well-spoken/written, and inspiring piece of journalism in the last 5 years at least! Thank you for your work, and I hope you contribute more in this forum, and others. Your insights and the simplicity with which they are communicated is just fantastic.

To anybody paying attention.

The once wonderful, respected and relevant country previously known as Canada IS NO MORE.

For that you can thank the MO... RON with the weird sock fetish.

And then the low, knuckle dragging voters who could not be bothered to do even a few minutes of homework into an abomination, a self-proclaimed "European", WEF Principle, Published Environmental Globalist, Off-Shore/US Brookfield Banker.. etc.. etc..

The above would have taken less than five minutes to figure out.

Even on Google.

For centuries, central banks all over the world have been printing money, devaluing it, and fueling inflation to prop up fiscally reckless governments. Such policies stem from the elite’s greed and thirst for power, enriching themselves at the expense of the middle class and working poor. Fits Canada to a “T”!!

Moral decay - precisely the current state of Canada’s leadership - leads to excessive spending, money printing, inflation, and currency collapse.

Think back to 2015! That’s when all of the above began! It was, and is, intentional! Trudeau, Carney are part of the elite globalist plan to head up a one world government to rule people who own nothing! The WEF plan!!

Fixing Canada, or turning the state around cannot, and won’t, happen until we get rid of Carney - and the Liberals!!
