OP-ED: Mark Carney is Canada’s Kamala Harris
Sue-Ann Levy writes: "Like Harris, this elitist doesn’t take well to honest and perfectly acceptable media queries — either avoiding the media, banning them from events or... reprimanding them."

With one week to go until election day, it is uncanny how Canada’s federal election campaign has manifested all the same elements as the Presidential election south of the border. We have seen the same biased legacy media deliver the same distorted talking points about CPC leader Pierre Poilievre as they did with President Donald Trump.
They have reinvented history and ignored many of Liberal leader Mark Carney’s gaffes on the campaign trail just as the US media twisted themselves into pretzels for months claiming former President Joe Biden was fit to hold office. In our case, all of them have been bailed out by the Liberal government, with CBC completely in the pocket of the Liberals.
In the US the media went crazy over Trump’s appearances on podcasts like the Joe Rogan show. In Canada, as we saw at last week’s debate, the tired and spoiled dilettantes in the legacy media had a complete meltdown over questions to Carney from True North and Rebel News—the kinds of questions real journalists should be asking.
We’ve been subjected to the same barrage of polls by pollsters trying to influence the election’s outcome.
