There's one area where he's highly effectual: wasting your money and mine.

Indeed and not a single surprise to anybody who did their homework which unfortunately leaves out too many lazy and ignorant Liberal voters.

Wonder if he gets Travel Points and banks them off-shore?

Absolutely bang on! Lazy, uninvolved Liberal voters.

I live in a small southern Ontario town - pop 135,000. It is staunchly Liberal, therefore virtually impossible to talk politics with anyone else.

Earlier today, I had a brief encounter with one such Liberal - a middle-aged convenience store owner, who otherwise, is quite pleasant. One of my purchases was the Toronto Sun. The front page shows an image of a beautiful young woman, murdered by someone who was out on bail on several related charges. One of those was threatening to kill this poor woman. She actually held up the paper to me and remarked, "Isn't this just awful?!"

I had earlier witnessed this woman all but dancing with joy at the results of the last federal election - the one where Carny was installed by the WEF. She commented to me at the time, "Too bad Carny didn't get a large majority."

This morning, I did my best to hold my tongue, but on the way out, couldn't resist a parting remark.

I held the paper up to her and said "Why so surprised. This is what you voted for. This is entirely the result of the Liberals bail-no-jail system."

In return, I received a look of utter and vacuous incomprehension. She simply does not understand the reality.

And this little tale (absolutely true) is a large part of why Canada is in this horrible state.

Vacuous and total non-comprehension of any semblance of reality.

The perfect description of the typical Lieberal voter.

Well done.

BTW.. Where I am we are smaller than where you are and fortunately a lot more Conservatives to talk to which sadly did us little good last time around although we did go Conservative Federally for all the good it did.

Thank you for sharing. Yes, we have too many brain washed Canadians who have been watching the CBC for the last 40 years. Sadly, the only cure for severe brain washing is PAIN. Now, we are in the 11th year of Liberal rule, and by they end of their term central Canada is going to feel big economic pain.

Expand full comment
James Turner's avatar

I believe that pain will come long before the end of the current Liberal term. And when it does, all those who voted for it will be scratching their head and wondering what happened.

I'm old, so I'm drawn to the old sayings. Here's one of my favourites. It might even be from the Bible, but it was designed for Liberals.

"There are none so blind as those who will not see."

Spot on! He travels the globe spreading jet fuel against his own net zero zealot ideology, sends our money to other nations for left wing woke crap and accomplishes absolutely NOTHING but MSM still love him because he’s boring, doesn’t call them out for biased non factual reporting and of course the massive conflict of interest he funds them billions including extra money during the election! Talk about corruption and buying your way in! It’s truly disgusting!🤮

When he puts all Canadians into 15 minute cities, with no cars, he will no doubt give himself green credits for every citizen that he can then use for his world wide private jet sojourns because he wont then be guilty of leaving a dirty footprint. (Sarc)

I wonder, Marion, if Carney has read Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World" and thinks it's a guide book for him?

Of course he has no interest in Canada. He was mandated to finish the job started by Trudeau and he can't do it fast enough before sailing (rather flying) away. He defines himself as European, elitist and globalist and he claimed again lately "I'm still being myself".

As I've said all along, Carney is not a leader, he is all talk, no action. He has accomplished nothing since becoming PM except increase our massive debt. Promises, promises, promises but absolutely no action.

You nailed it, Ms. Levy! The only thing you didn't mention was that almost every one of these trips costs Canada more than just jet fuel and his hotel. He hands out our money like a drunken sailor. He is the biggest ineffectual narcissist I've ever seen with all his photo ops, even building a staged housing backdrop which was later dismantled.

We are circling the drain, hemorrhaging money, losing jobs and industries while Carney plays at being a leader. But I fear even if there's no confidence over the budget and an election is called, He will win a majority. I no longer trust our elections after seeing what played out in BC and in our federal election with so many irregularities and 'finding' more votes.

Carney suffers from Small Man syndrome - belief in himself and his abilities which is based not on fact, but on his own wishful thinking. Carney's ego is obviously bigger than Canada's debt.
