I refused to vote for Ford again after he called those of us who refused the jab “yahoos.” He enthusiastically endorsed the EMA, the freezing of bank accounts, and kept us in lockdown far longer than anywhere else except New Zealand. He interrupted the education of an entire generation, and by all reports, it affected them badly. He still permits terrorist supporters to march in our streets, calling for the eradication of the Jews. This EV nonsense is just another nail in Doug’s political CINO coffin.
Ford has indeed drunk the Kool-aid. Or perhaps his Zzzquil is causing him to have Liberal dreams. Pro-EV programmes are an attack on rural citizens and the poor. Who would be able to afford an EV today should the later transition date become immediate. Are rural people supposed to wait two hours for a fillup instead of 10 minutes? Pipedreams of the artsy-fartsies and their bleeding-heart rich just cause misery to everyone except them. Things like physics and chemistry are thrown to the wind. Next is the trucks that visit points where electrical wires are down. Where are those trucks supposed to find their required energy when the grid is down?

I would suspect that the knives are already out for leadership within the Ontario PC party…… if not, I hope that some are sharpening them!!!!
