And where is the story about Tariffs Ottawa has but on US goods, that is causing higher costs for Canada. IE. Coffee is way up, and not because Columbian farms are charging more. It's because our coffee comes through the USA and Ottawa is adding Tariffs. And Builders are complaining that costs are going way up too. IE Glass from USA now has an extra tariff. A new Glass windshield is now way more because Ottawa is adding Tariffs. Ottawa is hurting Canada, more than Trump is. OMG!!

Dr Meat Carney brings to mind a quote from the Bard:

"Meet it is I set it down That one may smile, and smile, and be a villain. At least I'm sure it may be so in Denmark." Shakespeare, Hamlet. [Denmark is code for 'a rotten place' - as Canada is now.]

Pardon me for going out on a limb here but what Carney of the Palace is doing to Canada makes me think, just a bit, about the Irish Potato Famine, which actually masked a property grab, by the Palace-connected 'elites,' called Land Clearances.

How interesting. But that's only a whisper of extra costs to the retailer. The real problem lies with the gangster government here. With over taxation, and the added tariffs on import foods that we can't produce here.

Your comments are deadly accurate David. I find it strange we don’t see or hear references to the WEF/UN/WHO much anymore. Carney runs much of WEF along with a collection of the most evil elites of the world. Leopards don’t change their spots! Canada is nothing more to this slimy consistently lying bastard than a conquest to completely ruin……brownie points in his world of corruption and intense greed! No parliament, no budget, no oversight on monumental spending, passage of Bills that sound drafted straight from Beijing, complete oblivion to rampant criminal and drug activity, no solution to illegal immigration - one could fill several pages and not a single thing that’s been done for Canadians since this stinking mess in Ottawa was “questionably” re-elected!!

Trump’s tariffs are designed for fairness and equality - to US and others. If there’s a political aspect, it’s to make the world a better safer place. Folks who twist it around for nefarious purposes only damage themselves.

I think that Dr Schwab's comments about "penetrating zee cabinets" was made in 2017. Since earlier this year, the WEF has now also penetrated Canada's PMO.

When there is no parliament, there can be no vote of anything. There is no one there to represent the people. Very convenient for a communist ruler.

I'm willing to bet the farm Carney has already pushed thru bills without Parliament..and it's one of the reasons he's sabotaging the Battle River buy election.. (NO GAMES, MY ASS..lying bastard) If Poilievre wins there..Carney is screwed, cuz he KNOWS Pierre WILL immediately call for non confidence vote..and open THE BOOKS from the last 10 years and a whole shitload of "Liberals" will have already abandon ship..Carney and Justin included..probably all holed up on Epstein's Island..

same thing in California with a legislative vote...the reps have fled the state to avoid a vote and have held up the bill to review voting boundaries, something like that....and the reps fled...apparently NY is giving them accommodation etc and the FBI has been called. This is very likely for Canada, however I can only hope that RCMP would ignore a plea to find carnage....

Good idea Don! But that can't happen with a closed parliament. The con man and his gang have a whole lot dirty shit up their sleeves with only a couple short of a majority all they need is the few ndp to top up the vote. And I'll bet they would pay the ndp just for that reason. No I wouldn't count on Poilievre getting anywhere.

Under Trudeau the embezzlement, bribery and nepotism was covert, under Dr Meat it is overt. In both cases the Canadian people have no protections or antidotes against the practices.

To see Carney flogging Mutual Investment Funds to a desperate client base, using the authority of the Government of Canada, when their is no longer such a thing, and guaranteeing returns, is sickening to the core. Especially when I realize who is going to pay the price when his Ponzi Scheme collapses.

As I watch Carney shamelessly flog his scheme on the Mass Media which he controls (through bribery like Trudeau before him), I realize that the distinction between the State and the Corporation no longer exists.

That is the definition of Fascism.

A shape-shifter, and barely, if at all, human. That much is becoming clear through the smoke of the arson fires in the Prairie Provinces and Alberta which have caused more global pollution and carbon than 100 years of Industrialization.

I am surprised that no one is suing Canada for the damage done by their non-existent forestry policy which amounts to "Burn baby, burn!"

Thank you for the clarification. The truth is often hidden from the general population. To me the way forward has to be to change governments. Not saying conservatives have all the answers but we know liberal governments have not made Canada prosperous. In the end we put our trust in God, the Lord Jesus.

ALL of the issues with US/Cdn tariffs could have been prevented if this south end of a north bound horse & compatriots in Ottawa had just sat down & negotiated with the US/Trump from day one. Maybe a spirit of cooperation instead of phony bravado could have even resulted in a market for the many minerals/resources we have in the West.

Speaking of tariffs, anyone working on the 100% tariff China has on Canadian canola? Do I hear crickets? But I guess all the thousands of people, growers and businesses in Western Canada are not as important as the interests of Ontario or Quebec. Ottawa says - Western Canada, who gives a rat's behind!

How long will the West remain in Canada without a shuffling of the interests by our Federal government? Just as one example, why do we still have equalization? Oh yes, I forgot it benefits the East & hurts the West? Even worse, Federal policies seem to benefit OWG interests instead of Canadian interests.

To see Central Canada's view on "outsiders", just look how our trucker protesters & supporters have been and are treated. Time for the West to turn out the lights & say bye bye yet? How much hurt must we suffer before we smarten up? How long before we understand how harmful Communistic ideals are and just don't work?

Interesting article. Appreciate the clarity. That 93% figure is also misleading because there are many goods that are not imported in a substantial way so no tariffs on those products is meaningless, but when you place a 25% tariff to bring your vehicle or trailer into Canada, that is very impactful.
