Near the end of his recent 17-minute call-to-arms at Davos, Prime Minister Mark Carney told the WEF delegates assembled that Canada has among the most educated people in the world.

That and his chest-thumping about being a tremendously resource-rich country (without any pipelines to carry those resources) were not the most ludicrous comments in his speech, although they did stand out for being terribly rich in irony.
