Currently is in dire need of loud, vocal and eloquent defenders of its history which, while not perfect was something that was actually taught up until the woke jokes progressives infested every level of the (once) Education Systems (now Indoctrination Systems).
Is there anybody out there up to the task and brave enough to face the complete crap that would be spewed their way by all the usual, self-serving suspects?

Great piece!!..we moved to Chateauguay, Quebec when I was a kid..going into grade 3. In grade 4 or 5 and taking history (my favourite subject) one name that came up often was Louis Riel, the hero of the Northwest Rebellion (1885)..(who had been hung by the NW Mounted Police).. even had a holiday in Quebec in his name, We moved back to Ontario in '69, and going into grade 6, I got a bit of a shock (and probably my first lesson in politics) where Louis Riel was branded a traitor to the dominion after the rebellion and hung for treason. One day, I mentioned this to our teacher but can't really recall her response, probably cuz I was watching some of my classmates looking at me like I suddenly sprouted another head.!! lolol...This all came back to me years later hearing a quote at the beginning of Braveheart... "History is written by those who have hanged heroes"
The slide into communism begins with socialist ideas spawning cultural changes, former heroes and notables are made into evil monsters and history is rewritten to fit the communist revisionist's narrative. This excellerates as a cultural revolution designed to distance the masses from the truth of our cultural underpinnings and weaken our faith in the western philosophy that has shape our society over generations and our way and standard of living. Facts now becomes whatever the state decides is the truth that will advance its objectives.
It happened in Russia, China, Vietnam, North Korea and every other state that fell into communist influence. In other words it is what Elon Musk correctly labelled "woke mind virus".
The only way out of this according to Solzhenitsyn is to continually loudly and boldly proclaim the truth!!!! Especially to our politicians!!!!
