Is WW1 over yet? Income tax was introduced as a "temporary measure" to fund the war. Now when I hear governments try to justify new taxes as "nation building" efforts I just hear "increase the size of government" and screw our kids' futures.

Spending money one does not have has and always will have its consequences.

This affliction is generally taken care of in the case of those not in governance and one way or another put an end to.

Not however in the case of Government for in that case it is simply mortgaging the future of generations to come.

For example...

In what used to be the Province of OntArWeOwe they are now at or near the top of the most indebted sub-sovereign entities in North America if not the world. The model.. Liberal Governance followed by governance that only pretends it is not Liberal in nature but in many cases has out-liberalled the Liberals which it replaced.

Canada was in pretty good shape prior to 2015 but then what passes for Liberal Governance was put into place.

Now sadly Canada has a fake, fraud and liar as it's PM who sadly is far more devious than the fake, fraud and liar who preceded him and was and (likely) still is a principle in the WEF, Globalist, Environmentalist, UN-loving world but is skilled at hiding his true self from the Elbowzoe TDS suffering crowd who put him into power and is likely to keep him there.

As a bonus this rat is actually making the spending habits of the sock jerk he replaced look like amateur time.

This actually makes sense since he was behind the curtain previously advising the sock fetish jerk.

Soon though the GST will not even cover the interest payments alone on the money which has to be borrowed to convince the citizens of Canada they are OK when in reality that hole just keeps getting deeper, and deeper and deeper.

That precedes the lemmings being lead off the cliff into oblivion as those who led them there run away to visit the investments they hide and their wealth they locate in places where disclosure can remain none-existent.

That hole reaches clear on through to china. The evidence, the chinese are rapidly appearing out of that hole. Claiming many parts of this busted landscape.

PP should say he'll eliminate the GST. That's any concrete, easy to understand, proposal that would be popular. Then in govt, cut like chainsaw Melei, because we need to fund that tax cut.

I predicted a ww would happen in my life time. That was 15 years ago 15 years ago that I told my family that. Reason, so much tension in the world and to many kooks in control. All I can say to anyone, be prepared.

GST was the start of the federal criminal pigs thinking they could just keep increasing taxes as the find more places to piss the money away. They have come to the point where the peasants (slaves) are there just to produce the money for their over whelming ways. The next step is no more elections.
