Pringle Creek Public School posted a video last spring showing kindergarten students dancing to a Ramadan and Eid-themed Arabic song, while Easter was marked with a “Design an Easter basket" craft.
How long does it take Canadians to learn that all these programs are counter to the principle of integration. This is Canada, where we should be teaching our culture and it is up to the immigrants to adapt. If the immigrants wish to retain parts of their own culture they need to do it in their own homes and at their own expense. Until we demand these fundamental changes, the radicals in our education system will continue to destroy education as it should be.
