Unfortunately these school boards know absolutely nothing about the religion known as Islam. I lived for 18 years in the strictest Islamic country in the world. I understand the Arabic language and every Friday the hate for the western society spewed from speakers of the mosque was constant. We are seen as infidels and the religion teaches that all must be converted to Islam or be taxed extra and in some cases be killed.

These school boards must be reined in and teach only that which is necessary for our children to be prepared for their entry into society. They do not need to be socialized to one group or another especially based on religion.

My this seems very drastic.

Get back to the basics.

I would be more concerned that the educators either don’t know or pretend not to know the meaning of phobia. To bastardize a perfectly good adjective / noun meaning irrational fear and change it to attempt to convey hatred stretches the bounds of literacy and competence.

There is a very good reason for Islamophobia.

Unfortunately, there are too many bleeding hearts who have not read the Quran.

It’s not a bible, it’s a book full of hate.

Read the Quran chapter/ verses - 49: 4 , 9:30 , 9:5 , 3:85 , 2:191.

Wake up Canada, before it’s too late.

OntArWeOwes School Boards are VEWY, VEWY, BWOKEN.

The folks who might be able to fix these boards pay more lip service than provide concrete action.

There is a lot of talk but it appears little gets fixed with these sickening boards and the trustees who infest them.

Until such time as there is a real will at the highest of levels to actually fix things, get back to basics and stop with the woke, progressive, virtue signalling that favours the few and ignores the many and those minorities not "in vogue" nothing is going to cure the sickness that is consuming the Public Education Systems.

WOW! This material amounts to brainwashing kids (and to my dismay, teachers) into thinking we have a major discrimination issue with Muslims, Blacks and the Indigenous and I call BS on that! Canada has always been one of the most tolerant of countries, welcoming immigrants from all over the world. It is one of the reasons why we have so many folks from other countries immigrating here (and hopefully still assimilating our Canadian culture).

Who is in charge of this School board? It has been infiltrated by woke, DEI useful idiots who are providing teachers with complete class materials to force feed kids into believing Canada is a hornet's nest of Islamaphobia! WHAT? WHY? The inclusion of this rhetoric in all areas of the curriculum is hugely and damagingly disproportionate to what is going on in our country. Most people do not give a whit about what country you are from, or what your religion and culture are. But this curriculum starts with the premise that we are all racist, insensitive, bigoted a$#%holes, and I take issue with that basic assumption! (BTW, Anti-Semitism is a far greater problem here but is not given any air in the classrooms).

I live in Alberta now but 60 years ago when I attended grade school in Hamilton, we were taught basic Reading, Writing and Arithmetic along with Canadian History, Geography, Music, and Art, and it was NOT skewed by any political, cultural or religious beliefs! Why did it change?

Parents WAKE UP and look at what your children are being taught!
