Ontario Education Minister Paul Calandra announced the province is “taking over” four school boards due to consistent deficit spending in a bid to “go back to basics.”
Ontario Education Minister Paul Calandra announced the province is “taking over” four school boards due to consistent deficit spending in a bid to “go back to basics.”
Calandra announced that supervisors will now oversee the financial decisions of the Toronto District School Board, the Toronto Catholic District School Board, the Dufferin-Peel Catholic School Board and the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board following chronic mismanagement.
