So what exactly was the point of conning Parliament into passing a piece of legislation that granted Carney the ability to over-ride everything that might hold up any given project he decided to fast track..

... OR ...

As was likely the case was this simply another fraud perpetrated upon the voters to make it appear that Carney was actually going to do something for Canada's economy?

To paraphrase and with appropriate apologies...

An act passed for an idiot, full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

Exactly...big fan fare for something that can never come to fruition because the hurdles they must pass are impossible to achieve!

Well done 'elbows up' morons!

So what I see is that carney is picking projects that can not be started immediately, so he can blame the nonstarts on everyone else!

Another Trudeau.....full of Pipe Dreams that will never ever come to fruition. But how his Mentally challenged followers cheer him on.

So adding an extra layer to the approval process didn't speed things up? I'm shocked.

This, like everything else in Canada, is going nowhere fast. Now Canada itself is going downhill fast, so something is on the move.

Projects started, projects nearing completion, projects facing years of environmental assessments, projects with only government funding, 10 project announcements 10 projects full of Liberal fairy dust.

My! My! surprise. I guess this government's promises are coming to fruition - other wards a promised project in the fast tracked mode plus $1.50 will get you a coffee at Tim Hortons.

More red tape to keep projects from getting off ground

The conman failed. Fact is, that none of the projects he's been yapping about were fast tract. The first ones he announced were already pasted the approval stage. What it all comes to is more of his political lies. He lies worse than turdope did.

Will any of the projects proceed outside of the ones operating before the liberal government made such grand announcements?

This was a strategic decision by Carnage Carney….you can always freely promote projects that you know will never come to fruition for years…eyes open yet people?….by the comments here many are thinking the same thing essentially….WAKE UP people…

And once again a tiny minority of unelected "native" people have veto over nationally important projects. This is why nothing ever gets built here. 10 yrs this project has been in the planning stage and still no closer to meeting the ever moving goalposts. A government with a spine would just approve it, but just like the nothern gateway pipeline in BC, skidmarx conman carnage has given veto to the province and indians knowing they will block it and he can use slight of hand (aided and abetted by the bought and paid for lying msm) and blame them while achieving his and his hideous stick insect wife's nation killing green adgenda. Canada is fucked.

"... meeting the 40 conditions was a prerequisite for the First Nation’s final approval."

So all the First Nations have to do is hold up at least one condition, no matter how insignificant, and sooner or later the government will come along with a 'financial proposition' (= bribe). Nice work if you can get it.
