Premier Tim Houston has pulled the plug on a Nova Scotia funding program after it handed out $135,000 to a self-proclaimed “politically driven” communist publisher.

The taxpayer money was handed to Fernwood Publishing in 2024, known for “publishing radical analysis” to “engage with radical ideas and contribute to structural change.”
