Newfoundland and Labrador won’t enforce Liberal gun grab
Newfoundland and Labrador is refusing to participate in the Liberals’ massive gun grab.
Newfoundland and Labrador is refusing to participate in the Liberals’ massive gun grab, citing concerns that the federal confiscation program is impractical, wastes police resources and won’t actually make the province safer.
“As Premier, I call on the Federal Government to further engage provinces and territories on this issue, and to re-allocate the resources allotted for this program toward reducing crime, drug-related violence, and repeat offenders,” said Premier Tony Wakeham in a statement released on Tuesday.
