A new poll found that most Ontarians are against changes Premier Doug Ford is proposing to freedom of information, which would shield himself and cabinet from public information requests.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s proposed changes to freedom of information laws are not sitting well with most Ontarians.

A new Leger poll commissioned by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation found that 61 per cent of Ontarians are against Ford’s proposed plan that would shield himself, cabinet ministers, parliamentary secretaries and their offices from being subject to freedom of Information requests.
