Morgan Wallen, Danielle Smith join Alberta’s heartfelt tribute to Charlie Kirk

Country star Morgan Wallen and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith joined thousands of Albertans over the weekend who paid tribute to Charlie Kirk.
Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton is the largest outdoor stadium in the country, thanks to its seating capacity of 56,302.
Wallen had two back-to-back sold-out shows over the weekend. In one of them, tens of thousands of fans all lit up their phones in tribute to Charlie Kirk.
“It’s been hitting me harder in the last couple of days and I just wanted to let Erika Kirk know that me and my family are sending prayers her way,” said Wallen during his tribute.
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith highlighted the “beautiful moment.”
“I continue to be moved by the compassion of Albertans as you gather at vigils tonight at the Legislature and in Calgary to honour Charlie’s memory,” she said.
Thousands showed up in both of the major cities for vigils in memory of Kirk as well.
Calgary attendees could be heard filling the skies with the sound of their rendition of Amazing Grace.
The same rendition could be heard by the thousands at the Edmonton legislature on Sunday night.
Many Canadians are familiar with the U.S. national anthem because whenever a Canadian hockey team plays an American one, the anthem is played before the game begins.
While some showed up with flags of the United States in both cities, Calgarians sang the American national anthem, followed by a “U.S.A!” chant that broke out.
Founder of Take Back Alberta, David Parker, said that the way Albertans honoured Kirk set them apart from the rest of the country.
“Last night, Alberta proved why it is the best province in this country. We know how to honour heroes, and we don’t listen to MSM propaganda,” he said. It proved why it should be a country, nothing like what happened last night happened anywhere else in Canada at nearly the numbers that it did here.”
Kirk advocated for Alberta sovereignty during one of his college shows.
“I would basically allow Alberta to become its own country… (The) two best parts of Canada are Edmonton and Calgary,” he said. “Canada’s a really screwed up country, and it’s a self-hating country, as you well know, that prides itself on being polite.”
He explained that Canada was self-destructing through mass immigration, by not having free speech protections like the U.S. through its constitution, and by not having Second Amendment protections to safeguard against government overreach.
“I wouldn’t want to be prime minister of Canada. I wouldn’t last very long,” said Kirk. “Between Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver, you have some of the most Liberal cities on the planet.”
“Canada, I think, is bringing in like half of its population in the next decade. It’s just not sustainable. It’s too bad, it was once a great country. Canada has fallen.”

Good on Smith...
As for the other Premiers including Doug Fraud...
