Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe announced that the province will begin imposing a 50 per cent tariff on U.S. alcohol beginning early next month.

“I know there’s been many that have been asking if Saskatchewan is going to make changes with respect to American alcohol that is being made available in this province,” Moe told reporters in Prince Albert on Wednesday, adding that it will remain available to consumers.
