Has this unenlightened, whoever he thinks he is ever read the Koran? You want to talk about hate speech try that. Until I hear some talk about that he can get stuffed!

Karen Benz's avatar

The most hateful religion is Islam, but let's look the other way and pretend we don't know.

Franz Kafka's avatar

You seem to suffer from a surfeit of selective and targeted hate. Have you any positive qualities that may show discerment rather than bigotry and Islamophobic 'hate-speech'. You seem unperturbed by insulting half the Earth's population. Are you in some way 'superior'?

A fancy way of saying: “All my friends and fellow shills and paid state- ‘influencers’ agree with me.”

Harold's avatar

The word "hate" means you have turned your back against some person or thing. Period.

Those who practice Islam have turned their backs against those who practice christianity and vice versa. Those who hate ice cream, for an example, they have turned their backs against ice cream. Are they blowing up ice cream factories? Hate leads to violence? 100% BULLSHIT. There are many things and people that I hate - that I have turned my back against; a speech tells you why I hate a certain person or thing. My back is turned against Carney and Trudeau; I hate both of them.

Jesus said: "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." LUKE: 14:26 Was Jesus inciting violence? Not at all; only the retards in our society would think otherwise, for which there are now many.

CANADA INC, a CROWN Corporation, is founded upon the principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law. What Liberal MP Mark Miller is trying to do is eliminate the Bible from the Courtroom. What Bible? The King James Bible - the Bible of the CROWN. Under Mark Miller's watch, you will be allowed to read the Bible in church, but never in the Courthouse.

In the first few pages of the Bible, you will see a patent number, a Royal Seal, and living letters; issued by the Queens printer, as all legal documents are. The Bible in its entirety is a legal document. Ask a Judge to swear upon that Bible, the Judge will abandon the Court.

Jesus condemned the lawyers and tax collectors as agents of the corrupt corporate system. The BAR society is a modern manifestation of this corruption, using legalese to obscure the truth and enslave the living. In contrast, the Bible establishes the common law court, where disputes are resolved based on simple principles: do no harm, treat others as you wish to be treated, and contracts are voluntary agreements between free men. The Ten Commandments serve as the foundation of these contracts, while the Seven Deadly Sins represent the decay of society when these principles are abandoned. The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah is a biblical example of what happens when a society rejects divine law in favor of corporate corruption.

Harold B.'s avatar

They are fine with that . These are very selective attacks .

Franz Kafka's avatar

I hope you realize that you have just surrendered any moral and ethical position with that statement.

Harold B.'s avatar

I wouldn't ask you if I knew .

Kim Morton's avatar

Me too. From the rather selective information we are given, This should cover all religions. Not seeing a connection to ethics of any kind.

Donald/Raelene Bell's avatar

I, and I hate saying this, but, I tend to agree with him. I am thinking he is referring to all religious writings, not just what is written in the bible.

Harold B.'s avatar

No they will never touch the Muslims . That should be very clear to everyone by now .

Kim Morton's avatar

where does it say that?

Derek Holshorst's avatar

That is so obvious don’t you follow the news? When Christian Church gets damaged or burned to the ground No coverage by the News Media. When an egg gets thrown at a Muslim house of worship it is national news.

Kim E.'s avatar

Interesting that the MP just quotes books out of the Bible. Why is that??

David James's avatar

It's the time we're living in.

mari's avatar

If you don't like the Bible, don't listen. Feel free to hash it out with God later.

Franz Kafka's avatar

Ask Marc about the Talmud.

Suzanne Reny's avatar

You mean the Old Testament? The part that comes before the New Testament in the Bible. You know, the part of the Bible where the Leviticus and Deuteronomy passages Miller was referring to can be found.

The Raven's avatar

If what was meant was all religions he would have indicated as such.

Warretheth's avatar

I tend to agree, keep the rainbow coalition in check too. It’s got to go both ways.

malford155@gmail.com's avatar

his only quotes of verses is strictly from the bible, no quotes from the quran

The Raven's avatar

He did not say that at all. Take him at his word.

Warretheth's avatar

I was just going to site the Koran! I have read some and wow!! The man is talking hate speech himself. You may have to go after every law in the land to scrub out any reference to right and wrongs or consequences. Next it will be saying “no” out loud especially if the Blue Jays loose; which is thankfully humbling for us all.

Franz Kafka's avatar

What you just said is more 'hate speech' than is in the Koran. There is a lot of the same in the Old Testament though (eerily like what is being done to the Semites of Gaza as we speak. And the less said about the Talmud, the worse it will be for us all.

There is a genocide happening in Gaza right now, and you and others here are all worked up over 'hate speech'.

Do you not find that perverse?

Paul T.'s avatar

Yes, there is a genocide happening in Gaza and it is being coordinated by Hamas. Hamas is killing Gazans, not Israeli's. Too bad you're on the wrong side of history and common sense.

Karen Benz's avatar

Right on, as we used to say in the 60's!

Harold's avatar

What's your bag? "Peace, love, rock and roll", is what the cats were saying in the 60"s. In the 60's, Canada was a peace-keeping nation. You dig?

Are you in the groove? the iconic vibes of the 60's + were:

1. "Blowin' in the Wind" - Bob Dylan (1963)

2. "Masters of War" - Bob Dylan (1963)

3. "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" - Pete Seeger (1960)

4. "Fortunate Son" - Creedence Clearwater Revival (1969)

5. "War" - Edwin Starr (1969)

6. "For What It's Worth (Stop, Hey What's That Sound)" - Buffalo Springfield (1967)

7. "All Along the Watchtower" - Jimi Hendrix (1968)

8. "Give Peace a Chance" - John Lennon (1969)

9. "Street Fighting Man" - The Rolling Stones (1968)

10. "And It's 1, 2, 3, What Are We Fighting For?" - Country Joe McDonald (1965)

11. "American woman" by The Guess Who (1969)

12. "Imagine" John Lennon. (1971)

Gotta split. Peace out.

Karen Benz's avatar

Obviously you're stuck in the sixties. Wish we all were. Unfortunately, the world has changed.

Harold's avatar

I lived in the 50's and the 60's, and although I remenber the language of the era, (how can I not) I am certainly not stuck there.

Yes, everything has changed, but not for the better; a steady decine since then.

Franz Kafka's avatar

Is that when you stopped developing morally and intellectually?

Franz Kafka's avatar

Franz Kafka's avatar

Do you not think the world has had enough of the Zionist Official Conspiracy Theories. Numerically speaking fewer and fewer people believe that nonsense, by orders of magnitude.

Franz Kafka's avatar

You take being FOS to new heights. You need exorcism.

Karen Benz's avatar

The genocide in Gaza is being carried out by Hamas. When will people get that through their thick skulls.

Franz Kafka's avatar

Rubbish and calumny. All sane people know it. Who are you lying to?

Harold B.'s avatar

I don't agree with your take on the Bible . It sounds pretty twisted . You can't compare the Koran to the Bible . I suggest you take it up with God because accusing God of hate speech is not wise . That you think that Raven said hate speech is really out there . No one was talking about Gaza . Blame Hamas for that . I suggest reading and studying the Bible . Once isn't good enough .

Franz Kafka's avatar

One can compare any to anything, unless one is worried about the thought police. I have given one of many episodes promoting and counselling genocide from the Old Testament. Did you not notice?

Do you not claim (And BLAME) the Germans for doing precisely that -”rowing their own boat” as you so elegantly put it - when the Work Camp thing was happening to all kinds of people during WW2?

Franz Kafka's avatar

You have a private Genocide in your head by the sound of it. Have you ever grasped the concept of ‘time’? How about of Empathy? Apparently not of either, and proud of the latter.

Only liberals and progressives harp about ‘empathy’, you’re clearly both. Your ‘arguments’ are nothing more than trolls, and clearly the output of a small, hateful, ideologically captured mind. wanderer's avatar

Alberta is already prosecuting religious leaders for speaking in public! Has been going on for last several years! Disgusting!

Rosemarie Bakker's avatar

Very disgusting to take things out of context and try to ban or say it’s hate speech

Miller is not and has not been a good minister and is totally on the wrong track as he has always been this is just one huge example of why government ministers should not be saying what’s hate speech and what’s not. It’s a very dangerous slippery slope

Don Hrehirchek's avatar

Like all things to do with government, they will screw it up. No matter their "good" intentions. Just the nature of the beast!

David James's avatar

Where does that leave Marx Carney?

Franz Kafka's avatar

It leaves him as the installed Governor (dictatorial proxy for the Palace) of Prince Rupert's Land (AKA Canada) who is helped along by rigged and hollow elections and a totally supine and castrated Parliament who should walk out in protest, but chooses to bloviate, har-har, and pick up their steady paychecks as Judases instead.

Don's avatar

lololol..who's who...??..THAT goes back aways!!

Don Hrehirchek's avatar

But then so do I. LOL.

Don's avatar

same here..👍🤠

Paul T.'s avatar

Franz Kafka's avatar

The Gubmint has no 'good intentions' whatsoever. They do what is expedient for those who put them in power and that is not We the Pimple. It is the corporations and the WEF and the Global Satanist movement which is making a, hopefully last and failed, grab at the Golden Ring of absolute power.

Karen Benz's avatar

Absolutely agreee with you Resemarie. I guess that's what you get when a drama teacher selects his government officials. I know Trudeau is gone but Miller is a hanger-on.

David James's avatar

Up next? Bible banning?

Indoor Cycling Society's avatar

The argument advanced by Miller is deeply flawed and selectively hostile toward Christianity. To single out one biblical verse as evidence of “hate” is intellectually dishonest and ignores centuries of theological interpretation, moral context, and the overwhelmingly humanitarian influence of Christian teaching. Scripture, like all ancient religious texts, must be understood within its historical and linguistic setting—not reduced to isolated lines stripped of meaning.

Moreover, if the goal were truly to combat hate, consistency would require equal scrutiny of other faith texts, including the Qur’an and numerous secular ideologies that also contain passages which, out of context, could be construed as intolerant. Yet, Miller’s focus on the Bible alone betrays a bias rather than a principled defense of tolerance.

Most importantly, freedom of religion is a cornerstone of democratic society. The Charter protects not only the right to believe but also the right to express belief without government interference. To “muzzle” scripture is to erode the very liberty that allows open discourse and moral diversity. Genuine pluralism is not achieved by censoring faith—it is achieved by allowing all beliefs to exist freely under law.

Paul T.'s avatar

As the prosecutor in the Tamara Lich and Chris Barber trial stated; the Charter is not sacrosanct and can be over ridden at the whim of the courts and the government. The Canadian Charter of Rights And Freedoms isn't worth the paper it's written on.

Dennis Cross's avatar

Quoting Scripture isn't hate, it's truth. What an evil thought!

Franz Kafka's avatar

Marc Miller is what he appears to be. Not merely incompetent and a hater of Christians. Read the face... and the deeds.

David James's avatar

Marc isn't on Jehovah's side.

mooligan007's avatar

I am an atheist, however why no mention of the koran and islam, muslims spout kill all infidels and jews etc in the street and the cops bring them fucking coffee.

Miller is as totally inept and corrupt as the rest of the liberal party, not one of them has the intellect to clean an office let alone run one.

Guy Fawkes night is in 3 days and boy do we need a Guy now and for him succeed this time.

Peter Shurman's avatar

Sick and tired of Liberal assholes trying to exercise control over everything. Looking at bills you jerks have on the docket now says it all. I am a Jewish Canadian and am wondering why you’ve let haters run wild the last couple years…but I don’t have to wonder hard…it’s votes!

Karen Benz's avatar

You are right. All for votes. Our government officials make me want to vomit. No backbone or balls. Cowards all of them.

Keith Washington's avatar

Votes yes but fear even more. Guess who would cut his head off.

Franz Kafka's avatar

Righteous Jews aplenty! They are sidelined and referred to by their fellow-Jews as "Self-loathing". Now THERE is "hate-speech" for you. But Marc Miller would likely not agree.

{Logan} Untitled's avatar

And still the moslem invasion continues, with street mobs to go along with it. And this a hole sits there and preaches his restrictions on canadians.

Mark Sherman's avatar

Those pushing for censorship and the curtailing of free speech are NEVER on the right side of history!

Albertian's avatar

Mark you are correct, hope this happens in the short term, it is getting very ugly and will only get worse

Burn Wood's avatar

Marc probably never heard about the Muslim religion. Islam saying he should be put to death just because he exists.

Oops! I forgot, Muslim values are Canadian values so he saved himself, and the rest of us are okayed to be put to death.

Karen Benz's avatar

Mark Carney has said some pretty idiotic things in the past. I think the one that tops all others is "Muslim values are Canadian values." Canadians actually have values Muslims don't..

Franz Kafka's avatar

Carney is an evil idiot but what he said is no worse than claiming that there is such a thing as Judeao-Christianity 'values'. Here I suspect you and Dr Frankenstein Carney would strongly agree with each other.

jan's avatar

HOW have we been so blinded?

Dan's avatar

K Brooker's avatar

The Liberals and their need to control speech! Stop!

Erik's avatar

Why is Miller only referencing the Bibl! Why not referencing passages out of the qumran?! Which have plenty of passages inciting violence & murder toward ALL non Muslims!!!

David James's avatar

Because his party has chosen the Muslim vote.

Erik's avatar

That was made very clear by carney comment about Muslim valued being canadian values.....cannot belive he wasn't forced to resign over this comment!!

David James's avatar

Has what's left of Canada ever been in such dire straits?

Indoor Cycling Society's avatar

Very bizarre that JUNO news gives the last word to Miller and doesn't give a chance for conservatives to refute Miller.

David James's avatar

The last word will be God's.

Franz Kafka's avatar

That is so. It is left to us in comments. But JUNO may not be on board with a proper reply to Miller. They seem sometimes like Occupied Territory to me. May be the funding model.

Paul T.'s avatar

Sorry, but Juno News doesn't take a single dime from the Canadian government. Obviously, you haven't been paying much attention.

Franz Kafka's avatar

I did not say they did. The GOC is not the only corrupt source of bribery (AKA ‘funding’ in Canada).

Bonnie Geller's avatar

He obviously has no issue about the imams quoting the Quran telling Muslims to slaughter Jews, since this has been a major incitement issue stirring the violence and hate by jihadists in Canada, and the imams who were arrested, were not charged in the end as they were quoting the Quran.
