Michael Mizrahi identified as civilian murdered in Montreal shooting
“Everybody loved him,” said Chabad Rabbi of Montreal Mendel Raskin, adding that Mizrahi was a generous man who sold suits for a living.
The identity of the civilian killed in the shooting in Montreal’s Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood on Monday has been confirmed to be 68-year-old Michael Mizrahi.
Rabbi Mendel Raskin had been Mizrahi’s rabbi for more than 30 years at Beth Chabad in Côte-St-Luc and was the one who confirmed his identity
