On today’s episode of the Candice Malcolm Show News Update, Candice covers the latest massive pro-freedom rallies across Canada. Hundreds of thousands of peaceful Iranian dissidents and activists lined the streets in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver to show their support for President Donald Trump’s leadership and to call for regime change in Iran.
Notice how there were no arrests, no violence, no terrorist flags, no threats, no intimidation?
Contrast these peaceful, pro-freedom Muslims with the thugs targeting and intimidating Jewish Canadians in Toronto. We have seen three synagogues shot up in the GTA in the past few days. Are police and politicians finally taking this seriously?
Our friend Ezra Levant, independent journalist and founder of Rebel News, showed up to see for himself, and as Candice shows, exposed the absurdity of our officials and media class. First, he presses the police chief and causes him to contradict his deputy who implied these were random, not targeted attacks.
Next, Ezra exposes a woke Toronto Star reporter who is more worried about the “backlash” against peaceful Muslims and asks police if they’re worried about “Islamophobia.”
It’s just like the famous Norm Macdonald tweet from a decade ago:
Finally, Candice exposes the toxic empathy in Canada’s legacy media coverage of the man whose dangerous driving was responsible for one of the most heart-breaking events in modern Canadian history.
Jaskirat Singh Sidhu pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing death and bodily harm and was sentenced to eight years in prison for the crash that killed 16 players and staff and injured 13 others in the 2018 Humboldt Broncos bus crash. He was released from prison and is now rightly facing deportation back to India.
So cue the legacy media to flip the script and paint him as the real victim.
Candice shows us unbelievable coverage from the CBC, Globe and Mail and even the National Post scolding and manipulating Canadians into believing we have a duty to keep this man.
Why? He is not a Canadian citizen. We owe him nothing. And, as Candice points out, his conviction made him legally inadmissible under Canada’s immigration system. There is nothing wrong with allowing justice to serve its course and to apply the law as it is written.

We need to remind the country that the real victims of the Humboldt Broncos tragedy are the players, the families and the communities torn apart.

And what happens to the company/government/officials that allow these drivers to undertrain in Lower Mainland of BC sunshine, then get sent out to further practice drive, unsupervised, in prairie winter conditions - nothing. The blood is on their hands as well as the driver.
