Maya Gabala’s family takes Dana White’s offer to receive neurosurgery in LA

Maya Gabala, a survivor of the horrific Tumbler Ridge school shooting, will accept an offer to receive top-end medical care in Los Angeles, with all expenses fully covered by UFC President Dana White.

A 12-year-old survivor of the horrific Tumbler Ridge shooting who heroically tried to hold a door closed on the trans school shooter, Jesse Strang, before he took the lives of several in the school library, is out of the ICU and will be going to LA to receive neurosurgery at a top-end LA hospital.

Gebala’s mother, Cia Edmonds, who goes by the name of Cia Later on Facebook, shared an update about her daughter’s recovery journey on Facebook, telling supporters that Gebala and her family will be taking Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White up on his offer to fund everything needed to ensure Gebala gets the best care available.
