Ok Im not happy about being lumped in as a boomer that sitting back and saying oh well. We had it easy!!! I worked hard all my life worked three jobs to get my first used car.... I am not happy to see how things are going. I want my kids and grandkids to have jobs eat good food get an education and be safe.
I know a lot of us share the same thoughts. However I look back and dont think that I can be held to account for the woes of the election and the state of the country. There is a sampling of people in my demographic that they are quoting in their polling. But I will hold the Millennials and Generation Z folks to the same expectations they demand of not being lumped as a group.
It seems the two of us share a lot of the same feelings. And I am sure many more do. I hear my grand kids say work is hard but they only work 40hrs. a week, against my 158hr week. One thing I never hear from them is we have more than we deserve, or we are holding big investments they can't get,such as a house. WE worked and earned what we have.
I’m a boomer and will be volunteering for Barbara Bal’s campaign. At the meeting last night, there were many older males and females. There was so much genuine excitement for Barbara and Pierre.
I'm a boomer and my wife and I are very aware what's happening in Canada and around the globe. We not only subscribe to this site, but also watch Daily Wire, Jordan Peterson, Rebel News, National Post, and Epoch Times.
I am shocked at how may Canadians of all ages are virtually clueless about what is happening currently. Of course some of those same folks would label me as "far right" just for getting my news from primarily non MSM sources.
I believe the seniors who you talked about are the highly educated & wealthy ones who think they are now much more important and knowledgeable than they really are. Kinda like they are so smart that they are dumb. Most seniors do not fall into this group, only the elitists.
As a Boomer,, who is also university educated...with a MA I want to say that your stereotyping people like me....I, and all my friends are not liberal supporters, nor are we ignorant of the financial problems in this country. We have chlldren, and grandchildren and are aware of the problems. Many that I know who are boomers have been clued in to all the BS since the '60's and '70's. I find it hard to believe that so much information that we had bad then is still not acknowledged.....big pharma? vaccines? flouride? Pollution is not the same as carbon dioxcide; I confront Elizabeth May about this decades ago when the carbon tax was first brought up.

When religious groups reach 2% of the population they get political and start pushing their agendas!! Wake up people unless you want to become a 3rd world country!!!
I am a senior (78 years old) and not happy with the way the lieberals screwed up our country over the last 10 years. I have voted conservative most of my life except that I made a grave error voting for Pierre Trudeau in his first election. Never again would I ever vote Liberal.

I’m also unvaccinated got covid (sick a couple of days) no big deal now I have natural immunity.

I found it outrages what that con carney has done with moving his business out of the country while preaching to Canadians how good we will be for the country which he and his lieberals destroyed. And then find out about the china connection and the big loan he got from them. Talk about interference of this country con carney is up to his eyeballs in it. Personally, I turned off CBC , CTV etc ( radio and TV ) more than 5 years ago.
I turned off tv more than 12 years ago now. The news was nothing but a disgusting opinion show, loaded with advertising.
