A 66-year-old man, previously found not criminally responsible for killing his daughter, stabbing a friend, and attacking a psychiatric patient, has again been deemed unfit for criminal prosecution.
If the panel deem him fit to go on unsupervised adventures then they should be held responsible for the actions of the person when they commit a crime.

When was the last time you saw this when the offender's name was something like Abdul Mustafah bin Salmadin or Somsanith Gudrandomar?
Could we please lock him up for life?
and why is that even a question??? This justice system (wrong title, for sure) is as bad as our country's leaders
Can the people that allowed him to leave the institution be held responsible?
What about the hospital which was responsible for detaining him?
You are saying that they released him un-escorted into the city shortly after he was assessed to be a significant threat to the public.
It sounds to me -if he is not criminally responsible- then they are!
Whoever made the decision to let him out should be tarred and feathered.
