A 67-year-old man has been charged with three counts of sexual assault by the Winnipeg Police Service after allegedly attacking two teenage girls, harassing a group of schoolgirls on a playground, and sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s, all within roughly 90 minutes in the same Winnipeg neighbourhood.

According to the Winnipeg Police Service, the spree began just before noon on May 25 in the Norwood East area when Abdenour Khelifi allegedly confronted two teenage girls walking near Horace Street and Des Meurons Street. He grabbed them and sexually assaulted both before they managed to escape and run to a nearby school for help.
