A growing share of young Canadians believe Canada belongs to Indigenous peoples, according to new polling that highlights a widening generational divide over national identity.
Yet another poll, commissioned and designed to promote a Liberal, Utopian viewpoint and agenda.
Accidentally, it's showing, at least to me, the opposite of what it intends.
In any poll that states "58% of people between 18 and 25 think the answer is "X" and 24% of people over 65 think the answer is "Y", I'll go with "Y", every time, and the demographic with the most real life experience and wisdom.
At what point are Canadians going to come to their senses and stop this unnecessary, unproductive and divisive nonsense? A real question - How far back do we go in this attempt to rid ourselves of some imaginary, collective guilt? Why not go back to Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand of Spain for commissioning Columbus's travels, thus setting the entire issue in motion? Let's make the Spanish pay! Or go back all the way, back to whatever schism caused the separation of neanderthals from home sapiens? Ridiculous, you say? Well, no more so than the current national angst over our collective guilt.
While sympathising with the plight of First Nations in Canada - and elsewhere - I feel zero guilt.
The solution to this issue is not to give them back all their land, but to find a better way for them to fairly and productively participate in this society.

The left wing woke, Open Society/UN indoctrination via our "educational" system has worked like a charm. The majority of our youth are brainwashed, mentally messed up and dont even know what gender they are....
These young people need an economics lesson in addition to proper history lessons. Kids, that house you grew up in and on which your parents paid the mortgage for many years is your inheritance. For most people, the majority of their net worth is in their property and is intended to make the lives of their children easier upon their death. So keep on swallowing the Marxist nonsense and see how that works out for you. Something tells me they'll eventually "discover" individual property rights, but it could very well be too late.
Young kids in school learn weird things at times. They learn that white people are bad. Native people had all their land stolen from them ,from the people who built Canada from nothing. And the LGBT brain washing is clear. Parents get your kids out of public school if you don't want them brain washed and confused. Consider Chartered schools. Catholic school is ok, they are not as indoctrinated. Some Catholic schools listen to Canadian national anthem each morning.
These easily influenced youngsters are yet another example of “conquer and divide” mentality of the Carney/Trudeau Liberal government that’s taking Canada down to third world status……that enabled a weak minded portion of voters to actually believe in the “elbows up” idiocy
