Personally I don't think the government should be ALLOWED to ban anything without a direct vote from the people in a binding referendum on that issue alone. I can see that maybe they should be able to ban things like having a personal nuclear weapon, but I'm really talking about normal things like a car or lightbulbs. But in general I'd rather go with not being allowed to ban anything over able to ban this and that at their discretion. I don't trust their discretion in this country whereby if you get elected to a majority you can pretty much do anything unless it bumps into the Constitution, and with Covid we saw how that didn't really mean much anyway.

Considering Turdeau never once ran a campaign saying this was one of his agendas nor to allow Canadians a voice in this decision it needs to be scrapped immediately.
