The Liberals have experienced a surprising rise in popularity following Justin Trudeau’s resignation, now leading the Conservatives for the first time since 2021.
… It is frightening to think that there are actually Canadians who only two months ago had abandoned supporting the Liberal party, who are now supporting the Liberal party again. It is the exact same people, with the exact same party, with the exact same agenda. The only difference being an unknown, unelected man who has lived in New York for the last decade. If the Liberals are elected again, Canadians will be recognized as the stupidest people in the world. And deservedly so.
Iain Foulds, it's not only frightening, it's also very embarrassing to note how gullible these Canadian people are. Even with documented evidence of the conflict of interest Carney would present as PM, and testimonies of political figures who have dealt with him and warn of how disasterous his policies and agendas are, these people are willing to vote him into office for the pure reason of clinging on to an old ideology that doesn't exsist anymore within the Liberal party......sheer blindness and ignorance.
Perhaps we are getting caught up a little too much in poll results. Polls are just another device that political parties use to manipulate voters - either to create a sense of momentum in their favour or to discourage the opposition.
Conservatives need to keep focused on their plan to rejuvenate Canada by encouraging investment, building energy infrastructure, cutting taxes, promoting disciplined fiscal and monetary policy, limiting costly immigration flows, reducing drug abuse, etc.
As required, they should also continue to remind voters that Mark ("speaking as a European") Carney has spent much of his career working outside Canada, is deeply involved with the globalist WEF and is a strong promoter of carbon taxes and other woke climate alarmist policies. Incredibly for one who is now trying to portray himself as a Canadian patriot and wrapping himself in the maple leaf, he has just moved his company, Brookfield Asset Management, to New York City. As a man of multiple passports, he will never have to worry about the damage his policies will inflict on Canada and will be able to retire happily to some foreign land, smirking with satisfaction among his WEF friends about how he forced Canada to follow the Green New Deal while conditioning its remaining citizens to accept the mantra, "You will own nothing and be happy."
