In today’s environment, truth-seeking is a radical act. Cancel culture, shaming, accusations of racism, and intimidation by ideological groups have made exploration dangerous. But I say: to enjoy the freedom to explore is to reclaim your humanity. It is to say, “I will not be silenced by fear. I will not be defined by inherited myth. I will seek, and I will speak.”

To those still standing before their own walls: do not be afraid. The truth does not punish. It liberates. The journey does not end in chaos. It begins in clarity.

It is worth remembering that the world suffers a lot. Not because of the violence of bad people, but because of the silence of the good people.

Unfortunately, good people thrive on silence, even when they are being led to slaughter.

Stand up and say No, stand up, you have a right to be heard, and there is no better time than the present. Stand up, you are important.

Never, never relent to intimidation. Make your voice heard for the whole world to hear you. Shout, shout, shout it out!

Very well stated Melvyn.

As the old expression goes.

All that Evil needs to thrive is for good men to do nothing.

... AND BIG TIME ...

Never, NEVER relent to intimidation...

Be loud, be proud, be heard!!!!!

You're absolutely right. Remaining silent is not an option.

Great comment, you nailed it. I lost track of how many times people try to shame me for my beliefs, here and other private media sites...Even so called conservatives have no issue shamming people...this anti social culture is so embedded in our physy, all because of political correctness!

I lost a friend because of my beliefs; that's the way it goes.

It's called Problem, Reaction, and Solution. The Elites have been using this tactic from the beginning of time. Every solution they come up with is aimed at gaining control. This is such a deceptive maneuver meant to fool the silent majority into thinking the problem has been solved. Then we go on with our daily lives, feeling like everything is okay. Complacency is the root of all evil.

You are obviously seeing the dance, not staring at the puppets, and looking at who is controlling the strings. Find a copy of 'The Kahlergi Plan', published around 1925. NONE of what is happening now is an accident...

There is nothing these”busybody” Liberals won’t do to interfere with ordinary citizens lives, instead of managing the necessary business of the country.

While many departments of government are not functioning because of incompetence or mismanagement, the government is concentrating valuable time and resources trying to “control” the voices of the population.

They could be analyzing and rationalizing the criminal code (murder is murder - not sure why it’s worse for one reason over another and isn’t that why we have judges and juries?), multiple charities for the same causes (siphoning off valuable donations from the actual “cause” they support), the tax code, and many other activities that engage our civil servants unnecessarily and waste valuable tax dollars.

When CBSA and the CRA (two of the major functions of government) can’t do their jobs properly but the number of civil servants have increased dramatically, is this not a sign of severe dysfunction in the government?

We are moving into a world controlled by atheists who feel they have a better understanding of morality than Christians. According to the Bible, those who do not believe in God do not know their right hand from their left (Jonah 4:11). Gonna get a lot of criticism for that, oh well. Truth hurts.

Fake wants to look like the real thing. Hypocrites. Sometimes I watch a program on Yes network. They daily have a CBN Newswatch that only can post the day before program. Always a day behind. Talk about your censorship

“This Liberal government is targeting voices that they disagree with. C-11 grants widespread censorship powers. C-18 blocks news from social media. C-9 seeks to charge Canadians for quoting politically incorrect scriptures,” he said."

I have to disagree with Mr. Poilievre on this one. While I share serious concerns that Bill C-9 could be misused to silence speech the woke mob dislikes, my understanding is that the bill does not criminalize Canadians for quoting scripture. What it removes is the ability to invoke scripture as a shield for hate speech that would otherwise meet the Criminal Code threshold.

Still unchanged as valid defences are situations where scripture is used in good-faith public discussion: (c) if the statements were relevant to any subject of public interest, the discussion of which was for the public benefit, and if on reasonable grounds [the person saying them] believed them to be true; or (d) if, in good faith, [the person saying them] intended to point out, for the purpose of removal, matters producing or tending to produce feelings of hatred toward an identifiable group in Canada.

This is why, when Tristan Hopper wrote a recent National Post opinion piece citing biblical passages he thought might be captured by the bill, he included Leviticus 20:14: “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” His discussion of that verse clearly falls within a legitimate public-interest debate. No problem there. A free society must allow difficult conversations.

But if someone were to stand before an audience of 300 people, quote that same passage, and tell listeners that the Bible instructs them on what they should do to gay people, and if those remarks otherwise meet the legal test for incitement to hatred, they would no longer be able to rely on the religious source of the passage to escape scrutiny. I think that's a good thing.
