The Liberals have axed the candidacy of Edmonton-area candidate and former Alberta NDP MLA Rod Loyola for past comments praising terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah.
The Liberal 'campaign casualties' are really mounting, aren't they? Thomas Keeper in Calgary confederation, Paul Chiang in Toronto, and now Rod Loyola in Edmonton. All turfed, a week-plus into a very short election time frame. The histories of these candidates were pretty well known prior to their selection by the Liberal Party 'power brokers'. A clear demonstration of questionable judgement to select them in the first place...and then drop them part-way through the campaign. Last-minute replacements - like long-time NDP member Cory Hogan in Calgary Confederation - deserve a great deal of skepticism regarding their 'suitability' as candidates.
Yes, indeed. Clearly no distinction - at all - between the NDP and hard-left Liberals. Why don't they just acknowledge the obvious and formalize their unofficial 'marriage' with a public ceremony?
The Liberal Party joined other liberal governments around the world, in participating in the ICC kangaroo court condemnation of Bibi's right to protect his country. The Liberal government agreed that they would arrest him if he stepped onto Canadian soil - a complete disgrace to Canada.
As despicable as this gentleman's behavior is, those comments were 2009. Are we becoming like the mob? At minimum, he (and every person on the right cancelled by the mob) should have an opportunity to state his current views.
Mind you, with Loyola, he likely holds the same views today
Well, the way things are going, Carney will have to step down for the constant exposure of his role in avoiding billions in corporate tax, moving his company to New York, lying, depending on where he was speaking, about pipelines.....it sure is fun to watch him get pissed off at anyone asking him questions....the little twerp isnt used to having to answer for his mis deeds.

Wonder who'd get the play the 'groom'.....:)
In today's DEI world they could both be the groom...or the bride, if they prefer.

The Liberals are complicit in antisemitism.
