Andrew Lawton: Carney Liberals are “finishing the job” on Trudeau's war on faith
Conservative MP Andrew Lawton says the Carney government's military prayer ban is just another step in a long-running Liberal effort to limit religious expression in Canada
The Carney Liberal government has banned references to God at official Canadian Armed Forces ceremonies, ordering military chaplains to replace prayers with non-religious “spiritual reflections” at events such as Remembrance Day services, graduations, and changes of command.
Conservative MP Andrew Lawton joins Marc Patrone to explain why he believes the directive is the latest attack on religious freedom by a Liberal government that has repeatedly targeted people of faith.

"This is Mark Carney finishing the job that Justin Trudeau started," Lawton said, arguing the policy prevents chaplains from performing one of their most fundamental responsibilities.
Lawton rejected the government's claim that eliminating prayers protects Charter rights. "We don't protect religious freedom by just eliminating all religious expression," he said.
"Religious freedom for one is religious freedom for all. If we don't protect the right for Christians to worship, we're not respecting the rights of Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus, and so on."

Well, there's no point in having military chaplains at Remembrance Day ceremonies anymore. The Trudeau-Carney government has sanitized the speech of military Chaplains to the point that almost anything they say is redundant. Does this mean that soon, military personnel will soon no longer be able to attend Remembrance Day ceremonies anywhere where GOD may be mentioned? The fascists running Canada today, must have the men who fought against fascism back in 1939 - 1945, rolling in their graves. Is this - today - what they sacrificed their lives for? Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times. Good times create weak men (Trudeau, Carney and the rest of the lying Liberals), and weak men create hard times...and here we are. The proof is in the pudding.
God in the first commandment is an admonition to prevent over blown dictators from proclaiming power to control things beyond their reach. Trump Derangement Syndrome and Climate Change Dementia are Carney’s self delusions.
