To accommodate gender identity reforms to federal prison policy introduced by the Liberal government, a violent, repeat, and high-risk male sexual offender was transferred to a women’s prison.

Even Ontario Court Justice Brock Jones, who was appointed under former prime minister Justin Trudeau, expressed his alarm regarding the transfer of Charles Waddling-Leeson, a violent serial rapist, from a men’s to a women’s prison.
