They don't want to label Antifa groups that intimidate people, cause property damage and even physical assault on people as terrorists but the peaceful protest during the Freedom Convoy was caused by terrorists according to Public Safety Canada. According to Blacklock's there were totally false claims made against the peaceful protestors that were later debunked.

They do this under the false guise of claiming these groups as, "anti-hate". Weaponization of Terms like Terrorist works both ways. The Assumption is that the group applying the Label will be in power forever, and that those opposed to them will always be on the outside. However, once that bridge is crossed the likely hood that your team will be called Terrorist, or that you will cross the wrong person and be called a Terrorist becomes very likely.
History tells us that this ends badly, as anyone who criticizes those in power are called Terrorists, and guess what! You can kill terrorists with out the mess of a trial...

What is best for all of us is that we charge people with Criminal Code Violations, and have a fair and open trial where they are convicted of a crime based on what they have actually done. (Arson is a crime, assault is a crime, vandalism is a crime, uttering threats is a crime,....)
That is the point. That is also why the Rule of Law needs to be fairly and consistantly applied. Failure to do so (often deliberate) results in a divided and angry society.
