Despite a new push to rearm the Canadian military, Liberal Defence Minister David McGuinty has dismissed the idea of Canada building or acquiring its own nuclear weapons.

McGuinty made his comments in Ottawa on Tuesday when asked why the country wasn’t interested in attaining them.
