LEVY: Canada's cultural collapse forced Gad Saad out
Sue-Ann Levy writes, "The author of the recently released Suicidal Empathy: Dying to be Kind and The Parasitic Mind is leaving Montreal’s Concordia University for the University of Mississippi."
Marketing professor and top Canadian author Gad Saad is getting out of Dodge.
Saad announced his departure at a recent Tafsik conference on anti-Zionism as well as during an appearance on the Joe Rogan show, and on X.
He’s had enough with the death threats. The author of the recently released Suicidal Empathy: Dying to be Kind and The Parasitic Mind is leaving Montreal’s Concordia University for the University of Mississippi.
Ironically, Saad fled Beirut, Lebanon, in October of 1975 to escape the rising anti-Semitism during the Lebanese Civil War. He landed in Montreal.
Now Jew hatred is driving him south of the border, one of a growing number of Canadian Jewish professionals who are ditching their lives in Canada for safer climes in the United States and in Israel.
Saad compared Jew hatred to the human immune system, both of which have incredible adaptability.
Jew haters spread such tropes as Jews are descendants of pigs and monkeys; Jews make soup with blood; that the world is dominated by Jews; that they are vermin and parasites and that Jews not only have spread COVID but profiteered from the COVID vaccine.
Anti-Zionism, he says, is the latest form of the “steadily mutating virus” of Jew hatred.
He said empathy is a beautiful virtue to have, but it should be in moderation.
One gets into suicide empathy territory when it is invoked in the “wrong situation” and “targets the wrong targets” — such as feeling empathy towards rapists of colour or gays standing up for Palestine, where they’d be killed or at the very least imprisoned for being homosexual.
Saad claims Britain and Canada are in Stage 5 of suicide empathy. I would imagine that our PM Mark Carney’s claims that “Muslim values are Canadian values” have put our country over the top.
He saved his harshest words for Jewish anti-Zionists — the worst in his mind being Canadian physician Gabor Mate. He calls them wood cricket Jews.
These “lobotomized Jews” are like wood crickets who eat the horse hair worm, he says. This parasite takes over their brains and forces them to drown so the worm can flourish.
It was an interesting analogy which I will forever remember.
He describes Brad Lander, a Jew who worked on Jew-hating Zohran Mandami’s campaign, as a classic example of a wood cricket — as are the Jews who joined the most recent flotilla to Gaza.
In another panel, former Brit Eve Barlow — a lesbian Jewish journalist — said anti-Zionism has managed to weave its way into every aspect of life in England.
The owner of the outspoken platform Blacklisted, left the UK in 2014 because of the dark energy there. She is now living in L.A.
”I see people deeply impacted … that is what Islamists are banking on before all of us realize what’s been taken away from us,” she said.
The similarities to Canada didn’t escape me.
Those who obsess about Israel don’t understand “they’re gleaning joy from hatred,” she said,
Barlow says she asks them when was the last time they were in Jerusalem (probably never) and what if she obsessed about, say, Thailand as they do about Israel.
”I just call it what it is… we have to call it anti-Jewish hate,” she said.
American author and popular Conservative culture critic James Lindsay, who coined the term “woke right”, said social media is full of anti-Jewish propaganda
When a hater tweets something or puts up an anti-Semitic video, they get likes and retweets — which makes them feel like they belong.
He said importing all kinds of people into our country who don’t share our values is the equivalent of getting the second-hand smoke effect.
”If you import the third world, you become the third world,” he said.
Yes.
It’s no wonder so many professionals with common sense and a moral compass — like Gad Saad — have decided to hightail it out of Canada.
We are becoming a third world Shithole faster than people want to admit.
We heard from other speakers of Saudi, Egyptian and Syrian descent who said that children are taught to hate, that a lot of education needs to be done in the Arab world and that there are too many “blind” Jews who are not knowledgeable about Islamic culture.
