Legacy media focuses on ‘Islamophobia’ as 25th anniversary of 9/11 nears

The Islamophobia angles are nothing new; they appear every year during the lead-up to the anniversary of the World Trade Centre attacks.

As the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks enter the week of their 25th anniversary, the legacy media appears transfixed on the real tragedy of that event - Islamophobia.

CTV News and the Toronto Star both published a headline on Thursday that read “25 years since 9/11, Canada is not further ahead on tackling Islamophobia,” first written by the Canadian Press.
