Kelowna man who fired bullet into neighbour child’s bedroom released on bail

Damien Keddie has a prior criminal record, including assault convictions from 2017 that resulted in jail time.

A 29-year-old Kelowna man is facing multiple firearm-related charges after a bullet was fired into a child’s bedroom. Despite the allegations, Damien Keddie has been released on bail.

According to the Kelowna-based outlet, Castanet, Keddie is charged with 11 offences after police responded to a call on Feb. 19, 2025, at an apartment building on Winnipeg Street.
