Well Candice, if you were on X and I know you are, how many people that were not card carrying Liberals joined the party to vote for Ruby it was a sick joke of a setup. This was not Ruby's FIRST Rodeo. Ruby was MP years ago. She mistreated family Nannies and was brought in front of committee in HoC..She is not Naive! and then Ezra has a petition going calling on Conservative Party to bring her into the fold. I am totally disgusted at this point. Ruby is NOT a NAIVE NEWBIE, she's the exact opposite. My opinion but..... they are playing a dangerous game and we are the victims not RUBY
I agree with Premier Smith's position on oil and gas, but I was dismayed to hear that she has lifted the moratorium on coal mining on the eastern slopes. I know a few people (a tiny percentage of Albertans) are in favour as they imagine they will have long term jobs (unlikely) and there will be a somewhat significant contribution to Alberta’s economy, but nowhere near as much as to the pockets of the FORGEIGN OWNERS of the mines.
As surely she knows, or should know, coal mines on the eastern slopes will (not might, but WILL) ruin the streams, creeks and even rivers for trout and other water-dwelling creatures, as well as ruining large areas for recreation and tourism.
