Yukon, Northern Ontario police force join revolt against Liberal gun grab
A Northern Ontario police service is the latest to outright defy Ottawa’s request to enforce the program, leaving Ottawa with few options to make Canadians comply with their gun confiscation push.
Trump snubs Carney by kicking him out of Board of Peace plans
Oversight for a post-war Gaza government is now off the table for Canada, after U.S. President Donald Trump suddenly revoked Prime Minister Mark Carney’s invitation to join the U.S.-led “Board of Peace,” just days after Carney’s speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Health Canada admits half of those who quit smoking used nicotine replacements
Despite new data showing that alternatives like vaping are helping thousands of Canadians quit smoking, the Liberal government is still refusing to ease its restrictions on these nicotine replacement products.
OP-ED: Carney’s legacy media cult is the real problem
Sue-Ann Levy writes, “Near the end of his recent 17-minute call-to-arms at Davos, Prime Minister Mark Carney told the WEF delegates assembled that Canada has among the most educated people in the world.”
OP-ED: Trade with China, but don’t fall in love
Sylvain Charlebois writes, “Canada’s recent trade advances with China—including renewed access for canola, lobster, and beef, alongside the lifting of visa restrictions—have triggered predictable reactions at home.”

Unfortunately, if Canadians were given the chance to vote on the dangerous China connection, the majority would have chose against it. So much for Carney collaborating with the other premieres. Doug Ford is livid with the decision to bring in 49,000 EV’s from China; leaving the auto workers in a dilemma. Carney could have used leverage with tariffs on the coal we ship to China instead of the lame excuse of dropping tariffs on canola.
We desperately need new leadership and I am embarrassed at the way our country is handling our relationship with the USA; our greatest ally and trading partner. Not to mention our laws not being enforced and a two tier justice system.
Carney is slowly being eaten alive with moving ahead of any approval from his people! This is again typical liberals who have already damaged out country - trillions in debt and no resource development just empty promises! This man was a banker but does not know how to build our country! We need Pierre who also speaks very well - better than Carney but follows throug hon reource development etc.
