He's right. If only things had been different. I am trying to remain positive about our country but what has been happening is so very discouraging. I am truly concerned that Pierre Poilievre will never get to be our Prime Minister. Between China and the liberals....we are in trouble. God help us.

However, according to the concept of Trump Derangement Syndrome, an endorsement would have produced the opposite effect. I think Trump endorsed Carney to destabilize Canada's ability to engage in trade, inflate Carney's ego, and appoint individuals to cabinet positions who lack experience in trade or making deals on a global scale. In contrast, Trump's team consists of individuals who are experienced in making deals on a daily basis before their appointments. Trump fed the already inflated ego of Carney, and now Carney is trying to backpedal but can't because he has backed the wrong horse. In dealing with real estate, imagine the wringing of hands for the deal when Canada goes bankrupt. You never let bankers or accountants run companies; they are the worst managers ever.
