I ACKNOWLEDGE that in 1600 the IROQUOIS of New York State invaded CANADA and slaughtered the HURONS who were native to the Toronto region and land North of Lake Ontario.

I acknowledge that in the early 1500's the white man introduced horses into North America which enabled the North American Indians to hunt the buffalo more effectively and led to some tribes becoming adept horseman and slaughtering other tribes almost to extinction
These school boards and woke teachers are the hidden evil cell working against our society and anything conservative.
They will keep it up until no respectable, sensible person will want to be a teacher and we will lose all the decent ones to retirement and choosing an alternative career.
Indoctrinating school children with nefarious ideologies in respect of the history of land ownership in Canada is not what schools should be about. But at least they should get some schooling in what the focus on traditional land usage and ownership might result in if courts follow the example of BC and find that indigenous rights to land take priority over the rights of their parents and families to the land upon which their homes are found.
Whoever came up with this ridiculous idea needs to find a new job. I doubt very much that’s kindergarten student can grasp what land acknowledgement even means. Many adults don’t know and there are probably many who do not do land acknowledgment.

How about teaching kids to read, write and do math. We have a bunch of stupids running our education system.
