This is disgusting. Pushing ideologies and lies even in cafeterias? Maybe they should do some research on the evolution of humans and the development of the brain. Students pay for this as well as tax dollars and they are going full meat fascist. The movie snow piercer isn't too far off. The average Canadian will be eating food cubes made of bugs in no time and own nothing being while Carney and his Liberal insiders become the emperors of the world.

Well folks, I guess the rest of us are going to have to pick up the slack and eat more beef (not that we can really afford to). I'm buying direct from local producers. It's not cheap, but it's clean. Imagine not paying for fillers, injected water, etc.? While we're enjoying our beef we can have a salad with it because the CO2 enabled the growth of the vegetables. Our corner of the world has lost the plot!
Although I'm a conservative, I have to agree with this one for animal cruelty reasons. It also does contribute to greenhouse gas emissions and fresh water waste (I have looked into the science on this topic), though I don't think one school banning it is going to make much of a difference on that front, especially when China is the number one emitter of GHGs, globally. But factory farms and slaughterhouses are incredbly cruel to cows, who are sentient, feeling creatures. If you have looked in their eyes just as they're in the trucks about to be herded into the slaughterhouse, you can see the panic and fear. They smell the blood and know what's up. It's terribly sad. Human beings don't need meat to be healthy (we can live quite well on healthy plant-based diets).
