This shocking Canadian decline has to be publicized. Only through public pressure will government override the "do nothing" anti capitalist voices that have caused this decline. Only by developing natural resources and careful encouragement of industry will Canada pull out of this slump and reach its full potential. We only need look to Australia's success in importing LNG to Nova Scotia, a province that has LNG reserves but has seen fit to prohibit the development.
This "destruction" commenced with PET and his son followed through under the guidance of Butts and Telford with our present Prime Minister floating in the wings. They have an image of a "kingdom" that does not include rank and file Canadians but only an elite faction of the populace . As we have lived through for the past 10 years plus, they will say, do anything to get elected regardless of the harm it has caused or could potentially do to this country. Take two aspects of the basically needs for the average Canadian - food and fuel costs up 40% plus, our national deficit under this regime has increased 50 Billion $ and the list goes on and on. When are we going to WAKE UP!
But so many I know are pleased with Carney’s leadership. I wonder how we arrive at such opposite conclusions regards the economy . We both could be wrong but can’t both be right.
