This is utter nonsense and a complete travesty of justice!! That judge needs to be removed, and charged with accessory to rape!! He has completely lost his mind and his way!!!

Oh, good another mitigation excuse to commit a crime. I would to see a list of mitigations issues which prevent convictions, this list appears to be getting longer than a list of criminal code offenses. Just my perception, I guess.

Who appoints judges, and how could a judge buy this argument? Appalling! Get high, kill or rape or do whatever. Not your fault...the mushrooms fault! How are there convictions for vehicular homicide for driving while drunk? Hypocrisy.

Yet another wonderful prededent from the lowest level of judges in Canada. The price of psilocybin will not be dropping anytime soon. Let's hope this decision will be appealed and soon.

God no one is held responsible for their actions! No wonder why the up and coming younger generations are entitled brats with no accountability nor responsibility. Society is failing everyone!

Say, where can I get these mushrooms? That sounds like a guarantee to keep a person out jail. So if I hit my idiot neighbor for some reason or other, I have a legal reason not to be charged.

How did this judge pass his exams? This is outrageous & sets a precedence of acceptable excuses. How does he know the guy is living with this burden of guilt? The guy is more likely laughing his way to another opportunity. When he commits another rape, will they let him off if it's the same drug or will it be ok because it was another drug of choice?

Can a group be too intoxicated to be held liable in mass murder? Looks like it.
