Japan sees “enormous potential” in sourcing oil from newly proposed pipeline

Japan’s top diplomat to Canada said his country is interested in buying Canadian crude oil, which it sees “enormous potential” in as the Japanese market looks to diversify its sources.

The War in Iran continues to stranglehold the global energy supply in Asia, and Ambassador Kanji Yamanouchi said Japan is looking to Canada to help fill the gap.
