Doug Ford is suddenly on the defensive on multiple fronts with growing backlash to new limits on freedom-of-information access, a noisy protest at his own Ford Fest rally and polling that shows his approval sinking to a record low.

Recent changes to the Ford government’s Ontario FOI law also deny access to records held by ministers and their offices, and no longer allow the premier’s daily calendar to be made public.
