As with the poster children (emphasis on CHILDREN) who infest our Federal Government when they don't want you to see something and actively attempt to prevent you from seeing something you know they are hiding something or a lot of things.

In the case of Indigenous types though more than a few examples of the chiefs and their advisors living one way and everybody else living another.

Harper attempted to add complete transparency in terms of where the money is going.

One of the first things the jerk with the weird sock fetish did was cancel that reporting requirement.

The indigenous have got to be one of the biggest leaches in history. At least 70 years or leaching. Provided housing, monthly welfare, scholarships, bursaries, hiring policies. How much have we spent on them. It's quite unbelievable, must be historic, how much they've taken.

And now with the land claims picking up the pace, the $$ amounts entering into the Indian Industry will reach unfathomable amounts.

I can’t imaging the poop storm that gonna happen, when little tribe mates open up the books and see just why the Chief is driving a new Cadillac whilst they be running around in a 20 yr old beater Ford pickup. Pass the popcorn!

Overlooked are the many thousands who claim Indigenous and have a thimbleful of that blood who also profit through the many programs and grants. The politics is riddled with fraud and collusion.

Billions of taxpayer $$$$$ poured into the black hole of reserve finance every year plus the billions the Indian Industry generates on it's own and no accountability. Stephen Harper in 2014 passed legislation that reserves did not get their taxpayer money unless they provided an a accounting of where the previous years money was spent. The little trudeau boy and his socialist horde cancelled that requirement in 2015 and billions have disappeared every year since then. Thank you Hans McCarthy & Canadian Taxpayer Federation.

Pretty obvious why the trust fund accountant for Frog Lake first nations wanted to take this to court. Losing $93,000,000 in 11 years. Should be in jail for a long time.

It sounds very similar to me. The Liberals take in all of our tax money and give it to their friends and families and won’t disclose where it has gone to.

It will be interesting to see how far this ruling goes, the dispersion of funds in the bands has always been one sided to the chiefs and family members getting the lions share.

As the song goes, one for you nineteen for me.

It sure would be high time someone were held accountable for the unimaginable amount of money that has been given to Indian bands with little return. Harper made a dint with the requirement for transparency but the libs have continued to let them get away with our money, much of which no one can or will account for. And so many chiefs & council are guilty of spending band money on themselves while their members go without. Please someone put a stop to this as it continues to get worse by the year with no improvement in the lives of the would be recipients.
